Welcome to the Young Urban Catholics website!  We are based in the Astoria and Long Island City area. We are in our 20’s, 30’s & 40’s, and our mission is to build a network of Catholics through faith sharing events.

Astoria:  a traditional neighborhood with a deep multicultural history. 

Long Island City: steeped in history, quickly becoming one of the most popular and trendy neighborhoods in NYC.

Young Urban Catholics is an organization based in these communities.  We are building a network of people with whom we can share and strengthen our faith and spirituality.  Whether through celebration of mass, socializing, or community service, we are seeking to connect with others like ourselves.

Our base is the cluster churches of Astoria & L.I.C. : St. Joseph’s, Most Precious Blood, Immaculate Conception, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, St. Patrick's, St. Margaret Mary and St. Mary's…but we welcome anyone who may be interested!
