There's no "official" pilgrimage route that everyone needs to adhere to. You can choose any way to walk. If you feel you will be unable to walk the full route, you may consider meeting everyone at the Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini at 9:00AM, then walking modest portions of the route and taking the subway the rest of the way to rejoin the group at the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton at 6:30PM for the Pilgrim's Mass. It is your choice because it is your pilgrimage.
Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the map above, which shows one suggested route. It is not essential to print out maps. On the day of the pilgrimage, a one-pager outlining a suggested walking route will be distributed at the 9:00AM service that begins the pilgrimage day. Please also use this website to familiarize yourself with the background information on the churches we are visiting and the saints and holy figures we will be commemorating.
